With the lotion, which is lighter I (and the majority of others who use La Mer prodcuts) have better results*. Ie after using it for a month, I got a nice youthful glow to my skin. However, I didn’t get any other benefits – such as wrinkle reduction, firming or plumping of the skin. Those who do are lucky. With this one I’d say, use it for its original purpose – reducing scars.
Frankly, for this kind of money, I’d say buy something buy another brand like La Prairie, Sisleya or Estee Lauder who will sell you a firming cream for about the same price (or less) that works better.

* I haven’t tried the moisturising gel cream (which is the ‘ultra light’ version of the cream and costs an ‘ultra fortune’ compared to the others – ie £160 for 60ml!).
