Most people who are ‘into skincare’ will know this popular (and pricey) product, which has been around for years. The story of its creation, in some respects, is a history lesson, as the cream has become extremely popular thanks to A-list movie stars loving it.
After scarring himself badly, aerospace physicist Max Huber created a concoction – ie the cream’s “Miracle Broth” – to repair his skin and make the scar vanish. The broth, which contains sea kelp, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, lecithin, Vitamins C, E and B12, plus oils of citrus, eucalyptus, wheat germ, alfalfa, and sunflower oil, not only reduced his scar but also made his skin more youthful in appearance and healthy.
A few stars heard of this, Estee Lauder bought it, and now the beauty masses buy it regularly. The lotion, which is much lighter* than the cream is a great product that will give your skin a lovely glow after using it for about a month. My experience with the cream, like many others who have normal skin, is that it clogs the pores and feel like Crisco, a canned American cooking fat, when on.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get any other benefits from the lotion – such as wrinkle reduction, firming or plumping of the skin. Those who do are lucky.
Frankly, for this kind of money, I’d say buy something buy another brand like La Prairie, Sisleya or Estee Lauder who will sell you a firming cream for about the same price (or less) that works better.

* Apparently the moisturising gel cream, which I haven’t tried, is the ‘ultra light’ version of the the product and costs an ‘ultra fortune’ compared to the others – ie £160 for 60ml!
