Product review: Dessert Essence Organics’ Almond Hand and Body Lotion

This is a wonderful cream for those who want something pretty much as natural as you can get. Containing almond extract and oil, sunflower seed oil, jojoba oil and shea butter, this is a moisturising body product of medium strength. Ie, it’s not very light or very heavy and is suitable for normal skin – containing Vitamins A, E and B, plus proteins and fatty acids, which are found in the almond and sunflower oils.
This product will keep you well moisturised for a day or so (in comparison to some of the heavier ones that last for days or the lighter ones that last only a few hours) and, to its credit, does not contain parabens, sodium laurel/laueth sulfates, petroleum based ingredients or artificial fragrances or colours.
Coming in a plastic tube and smelling deliciously of almonds, it’s easy to squeeze out and soaks in quickly.
