I regularly visit the tearoom and have never found it to be grubby, and staff are always helpful, it may be a little cramped, but is situated in the ‘Old Brewhouse’ which is part of it’s charm and there is also plenty of sitting outside which is usually full on dry days.

I would recommend a visit to Knole at anytime of year but it is at its best on a warm Summer’s day when you can stroll though the park and get away from the world for a few hours.
